Spring Into Reinvention!
One thing that can definitely be said about Hollywood is that it's a town full of people who are constantly reinventing themselves. Think about the different looks that Madonna has had over the years. Or Jennifer Lopez who's gone from Fly Girl to Fashion Icon. It's a great example for the rest of us that if you're unhappy with your look, you always have the option to change it!
I myself have recently lost eighty pounds which is pretty awesome but it also leaves me with the problem of a closet full of clothing that no longer fits. So I've found myself having to replace nearly every item of clothing I own.
It's an interesting thing to have to start from square one in your wardrobe. It really allows you to stop and take stock of who you are style-wise and the image that you want to project. Are you a girly girl who loves all things frilly and flirty or a rocker chick who favors studs and leather? Are you the classic girl who loves things that are elegant and timeless or the boho-chic modern day flower child? I personally have always been a girl who follows the trends. If it's new and I can find a fit that flatters, call me all over it!
The idea of a complete fashion overhaul is exciting, but it's also pretty daunting because I'm a girl on a budget. I don't want to spend a lot of money on any one item because in my weight loss journey I really don't know how long I'm going to actually be able to fit it. So here's my mission: To redo my wardrobe with affordable fashion. I'm looking to purchase each item for $30.00 or less. That's more real world budget for most of us anyway. So join me on my journey and hopefully you'll pick up a couple good ideas along the way!!!
What's your style?
